Work within the Marine And Environmental Affairs Natural Resource/Animal Control Department with a team of professionals handling domestic and wild life calls on a daily basis complying with state and local laws.

Work closely with emergency agencies such as the Barnstable Police Dept. the MSPCA, Animal Rescue league and Cape Wild Life ensuring the safety and well being of the public and animals within the town.

Capture and impound animals at large. Reunite animals with owners or re-home. Collect fees and or fines as required. Complete daily logs and individual incident reports.

Issue citations as warranted. Perform kennel inspections .

Prepare for and attend Dangerous dog hearings and court hearing.

Complete cat/dog bite investigations and issue appropriate quarantines.

Participate in rabies hand bating under the direction of the rabies task force.

Participate in education programs concerning wild life and domestic animals.

Experience with Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Microsoft Excell. Proficient with Lynx Log Mooring Info database.

Worked under the Town Administrator and Select board complying with all state and local laws.

Responded to domestic and wild life calls on an on call basis in a professional and safe manner.

Captured and impounded domestic animals found at large with in the town. Reunited or re-homed said animals.

Attended annual Animal inspector meetings.

Completed barn inspections and submitted annually.
