Elevated Bartow Family Resources as Executive Director, Relationship Center Director and Board Member, pioneering a peer counseling department and enhancing board collaboration. Mastered program promotion and life coaching, mentoring a team of 20 volunteers to support community needs. Demonstrated exceptional team building and strategic planning, significantly contributing to organizational growth and community well-being.
(After a year break of working at BFR. The BFR Board hired me to head up a new peer counseling department. After approximately five years of leading this department I retired.)
Lead a group of 20 peer counseling volunteers to meet with our mothers from the Babies and More side of the Bartow Family Resources. This meetings entailed listening to and encouraging our mothers and families in their season of life. The Relationship Center also ministered to the community members seeking someone to listen to their emotional pain.
