I am an experienced academic advisor and former educator with a strong commitment to supporting student success, retention, and engagement. I have extensive experience working with diverse student populations, including those facing academic and personal challenges, and I am skilled in monitoring progress, developing individualized plans, and connecting students with resources to keep them on track for graduation. My background includes collaborating with faculty, families, and support services to address barriers to success, improve attendance, and strengthen student outcomes. With a foundation in data-informed decision-making, curriculum support, and student advocacy, I am highly organized, adaptable, and dedicated to creating a positive, supportive environment that helps at-risk students reach their full potential.
I provide academic advising for Mechanical and Civil Engineering students, helping them plan coursework, stay on track for graduation, and resolve registration issues. I work closely with faculty to coordinate advising assignments, manage course permissions, and develop course schedules that reduce conflicts and support student progression. I also help maintain accurate student records, monitor enrollment trends, and assist with scheduling to ensure required courses are available. My work supports both students and faculty by improving advising efficiency and strengthening communication across the department.
