Keona Bukhari-Adams is a highly passionate pre-medical student who aspires to have a career as a neurosurgeon or pediatric oncologist. Prior to starting her academic journey at Syracuse University, she trained as a dancer in New York City at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and Joffrey Ballet School. Through that experience, she explored the power and depths of ambition, collaboration, and creativity to achieve a precise standard of excellence. As a future physician and UKSI Fulbright alum, she hopes to find ways to intertwine her love for the arts and anthropology to create a global impact on communities of people. Keona is a self-motivated, life-long learner whose goal is to one day apply her medical knowledge and passion for humanity at an international level.
