Currently, I build Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) inlet doors. These are very complex parts that sit on the outside of the boeing 737 that utilizes composite and aluminum structures, as well as an actuator. I get to put together, match drill, and apply sealant per customer spec. Its about a 15 hour process from start to finish. I work with 2 other people in this area, and alot of times we are given a deadline of one week to complete 29 doors and we never fail when the company needs it done. We will work 14 hour shifts throughout the weeks and work 12 Saturday and Sunday if thats what needs to be done.
