- I called numbers, and I gave food the customer with that number desired. I would serve Chicharrone con carne, rice, beans, fried plantains, chicken tenders, fries, and chicken . I would also serve agua frescas and seafood . I would make bags of chicharron botenero, peel avocados, peel shrimp, and sweep the floor when it wasn't busy. In addition, I would wash trays, plates, spoons, and dishes. When it was time to close, Id clean the food area with hot water and soap. My kitchen manager used to compliment me on being proactive and eager to assist with whatever task the kitchen needed assistance with. I even assisted in training a new employee, who picked up everything in less than a week. Our team resembled a little working family.
