Additional Information
After my playing career ended in 2009, in the Continental League, with the Alexandria Aces I was recruited to help Doug Gunselman @ MHS. Prior to that I had volunteered @ Coffeyville Community College while preparing for Spring Training. While the most experience coaching isn't there, the knowledge of a winning way on the diamond is instilled in my heart. At MHS we won our program into a 25 team. At CSC, we won our way to a JUCO World Series. At IWCC, we won our way to a 53-10 record. At FHSU we won our way to the #7 team and an NCAA Regional birth in Portland, OR. During summer college ball with the Hays Larks of the Jayhawk league, we won ourselves to 2 top ten finishes and 1 top 5 finish in the National Baseball Congress World Series. I know with no degree, I'd have to obtain a teaching certification, which I have no doubt I can do. I got my license to sell insurance in less than 3 months. Theres no doubt the program is at rock bottom right now and I desire to be the man that turns the baseball program around, if possible.... I can send you handfuls of referrals, some of the best in Oklahoma, that will tell you theres not a better candidate to connect the kids at MHS and get the numbers around of the community to rise.
