Planned, prepared, and delivered rigorous, standards-aligned English / Language Arts instruction for students in grades 9-12. Role highlights:

• As Secondary ELA Content Specialist (2025-26): Led content-level strategic planning and professional development for all middle- and high-school English teachers across the district (approximately 40 teachers across 5 school sites).
• As Curriculum Writer (2024-25): Designed and wrote standards-aligned upper-level English course ("Diverse Perspectives in Literature"). Served as founding course instructor.
• As Testing Coordinator (2022-23): In first year on staff, managed site-based implementation of Minnesota State Testing, including scheduling tests, training staff, and ensuring building test security.

• As Founding Instructional Team Member: Designed curriculum and taught literature to students in grades 9-10, specializing in co-taught Special Education classrooms. Led final cohort to 107 points average reading growth (approx two grade levels), as measured by Scholastic Reading Inventory.
• As Advisory Level Lead (2018-2020): Led responsive SEL-based interventions and supports for graduating class of 2020. Planned and project-managed graduation for class of 2020 during COVID-19 shutdown and massive social uprising in South Minneapolis (Spring 2020).
• As Equity Council Member (2020-2022): Designed and facilitated professional development to address the impacts of bias in the school community.

Acted as Executive Assistant and "Chief of Staff" at large Minneapolis charter school network. Primary responsibilities:

• Managed special projects, including authorizer re-application.
• Trained, oversaw, and managed Board of Directors.
• Planned and facilitated Senior Leadership Team meetings, including managing follow-up workstreams.
• Managed clerical tasks for Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer, including managing email, composing major communications, and performing clerical duties as assigned.

Designed and delivered personalized academic support to students in grades 6-10. Collaborated with families and classroom instructors to target student needs. Planned monthly community service and enrichment field trips. Arranged and supervised travel and programming for multiple out-of-state youth tournaments.

Planned and delivered classroom instruction for 10th grade English / Language Arts students, including developing test preparation materials for Mississippi reading test. Participated in ongoing pedagogy and racial justice training through Teach for America.
