As a Dangerous Good Agent (DG Agent), we provide many task dutues such as

• Open cans to the right asset numbers
• hang up nets in order to efficiently tie-down freight tightly for packages do not get damage.
• Look at Manifest sheets for incompatibles and compatibles chemicals and explosives placards.
• ensure safe and legal handling of dangerous goods, including verifying all paperwork is accurate, complete, and timely, with proper distribution to all necessary parties.
• Ensured dangerous good fright is properly loaded and secured on outbound flights in accordance with FAA and FedEx policy and procedures.
• inspect and handle boxes with proper labels.
• Dealing with heavy bulk and pallet shipments with forklift operation needed.

Worked around aircraft include being a load captain and team leader Monday-Thursday. Around the aircraft, I ensure all the auto-slips are properly printed out on the ULDs into order to put in aircraft efficiently. I load the Forwards and Aft bellies as well as top side. On Fridays, I do work on Heartland sorting baggage carts. When needed, I pull over-goods, postal, Memphis freight, hazard, and baggage carts to an outbound. In addition, as as Team leader for Non-Con 3, I create a layout best suited to ensure that baggage carts get sorted efficiently. Also, I instruct my drivers to pull their strings of baggage when necessary. I make sure they are properly dropping off the correct slides and outbound. In the past, I have worked in the Matrix, slide outbound, input, and bulk truck offload and onload.
