For the last decade, I have been in the roofing industry. I started out with a family-owned operation, Allstate Roofing, in Fordyce, Arkansas. There, I began as a laborer and worked my way up to project supervisor of a commercial crew. During my time at Allstate Roofing, I was introduced to many trades and jobs. We built red iron shop buildings, poured the slab foundations for them, and some were welded, while others were bolted. We performed demolition work, structural rebuilding of commercial buildings, and carpentry for residential homes. We performed repairs on residential and commercial roofs, installed metal, modified bitumen, and TPO roofs on residential and commercial buildings. Upon moving to Little Rock in February 2024, I took a job as a regional manager for Storm Shield Roofing Systems. Since I have expanded my knowledge on all trades when it comes to shopping for the best materials at the best price, writing bids and estimates, building trustworthy relationships with potential clients, understanding insurance claims, and speaking with adjusters.
