Daniel Afflitto

At this internship I am putting what I have learned while in school at Felician University into real world experience. I will be able to watch licensed physical therapists work on athletes for injuries of any sort. They use techniques such as dry needling, massaging, electric stim, shockwave therapy, weight training, etc in order to get athletes back onto the field. This internship allows me to further my knowledge of classes like anatomy and physiology, and health and fitness which I excelled in. This is done by me aiding the therapists in the treatment that they give the athletes, while also watching over their workouts one on one. The knowledge that I learn at Myokinetix exceeds that of any in a classroom.
