Currently performing all aspects of Sterile Processing in a very fast paced environment. Decontamination, Assembly, and both Sterrad, and autoclave sterilizers.
I interact directly with prospective clients to understand their needs, and wants. I custom draw every piece of artwork for that particular client. I then apply their tattoo, always being mindful to maintain a sterile environment. After the tattoo process I always make sure sharps are properly disposed off in a medically approved sharps container, and re-usable instruments are properly cleaned, dis-infected, and autoclave sterilized.
I was a student at PTEC Technical School. I was taking the Surgical Technologist course.
I served the needs of clients, by first listening to their needs, and showing them vehicles that meet those needs. I make at least 30 phone calls a day to prospective customers, after visit follow ups, and after sale follow-ups, to insure their satisfaction. I am a part of the Internet team, and help our on-line customers to set up their appointments. I am also responsible for retrieving all necessary documents for F&I, and their intro into financial services. As well as the full delivery of their new vehicle.
I interacted directly with customers to determine their wants, and needs. I would then draw the artwork necessary, and apply said tattoo. Making sure to maintain a sterile environment. I also had to properly clean, and sterilize reusable equipment. And as a Manager I was also responsible for scheduling, cashing out the cash register every night, and making sure all money was accounted for, making bank deposits, ordering supplies that stayed within the budget, as well as making sure the business ran smoothly, and everyone got along.

And as a the owner I was also responsible for scheduling, cashing out the cash register every night, and making sure all money was accounted for, making bank deposits, ordering supplies, and paying the bills while staying within the operating budget, interviewing, and hiring employees, as well as making sure the business ran smoothly, and everyone got along.
I was learning the tattoo industry from the ground up. Not just proper technique, but also sterile technique. How to maintain a sterile field or work during the tattoo process, as well as the proper cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of re-usable equipment. How to perform the required spore tests on the autoclave. I also learned about proper customer service, and the importance of treating people with respect. My military background, and experience really paid off in this area.
I proudly served as an Infantryman, and Paratrooper with a very elite unit. I served with the 1st/504th PIR, of the 82nd Airborne Division. I was very well-disciplined, and well-trained, and excelled in all aspects of the military. As a result of my dedication I was promoted rather quickly. My willingness to lead others, take charge, and help the newer soldiers was noticed by my Platoon Sargent, and I became a squad leader after 2 years of service. I had 25 soldiers under me. It was my responsibility to make sure my men were up-to-date on all qualifications, and certifications. And to make sure they were where they were suppose to be when they were suppose to be there. I reported directly to my Platoon Sargent, always being mindful to follow the chain-of-command whenever there was an issue. In the beginning of 1989 I held the rank of E-4. As a result of my leadership skills it was recommended that I go to NCO school. That way I could be promoted to E-5, Sargent. It teaches you advanced leadership skills. After taking this class, and returning to Ft. Bragg, we deployed to Invade Panama in Operation Just Cause. We performed an airborne operation into Panama City to take control of the airport. After gaining control of the airport I was given a battle field promotion to E-5. I remained that rank, and my position as squad leader until my discharge in 1991.
