Projects

  • Wordle: As part of a team of five, I contributed to the successful recreation of the popular game "Wordle" using Python. In this project I was responsible for a majority of the GUI, which included the implementation of the display-screen keyboard that changes colors based on previous guesses. I was also part of the team that worked on the AI development to solve the puzzle based on results from prior words. Technologies used: Visual Studio Code, Python, Pygame, Github, Pyscript, Pylint, StarUML, Github.
  • Boop: A solo project in which I designed a virtual representation of the popular board game "Boop" using C++ that can be played from a terminal. This project required extensive time and effort troubleshooting and made me familiar with C++ debuggers like GDB and Valgrind. Furthermore, the game is built around classes: a "game" class that can be used for any board game format, a "boop" class which is a child to the game class and features most of my implementation, and a "space" class to represent the spaces on the board. This project was a great learning experience with object oriented programming (OOP). Technologies used: Visual Studio Code, C++, GDB, Valgrind, CPPCheck, Github.
