- Contracted to transport goods for a major pharmaceutical supplier out of the midwest to all retailers in the continental US.
- Responsible for accepting load confirmations from the customer and converting the information to our own load sheets for distribution to specified carriers who are approved for those specific lanes.
- Responsible for a very intense and discriminating vetting process in approving Carriers and Owner-Operators for transporting our customer's goods. Managed carrier information as it applies to FMCSA rules and regulations.
- Set up and maintained board of those vetted carriers taking daily reports of available equipment and their locations from carrier's dispatch representatives.
- As loads were received from shipper, carriers who reported available equipment within reasonable distance from origin were contacted and our confirmation was sent to their dispatch.
