Fast-thinking Emergency Medical Technician with over 30 years of experience. Known for efficiency and accuracy in stressful situations with excellent decision-making skills and attention to detail. Dedicated to comprehensive and compassionate patient care. In addition to working the public sector of EMS, I worked for over 25 years in both the private sector and hospital based emergency medical transport. I was on both and ALS unit and a MICU unit. I left the hospital based unit around 3 years ago. I was with that agency for 19 of their 37 years of operation. I got out of inter facility transport because when the hospital got out of doing its own transport and sold us out to a private ambulance firm, it had poor management.

This agency is the fire department for Madison Twp. This is a combination Part time paid and volunteer paid per call agency. We operate out of three stations. The EMS Units operate out of Station 153 witch is the central station. We staff one medic unit and an EMS chase car. In the event of a fire or large scale operation a mutual aid medic is also dispatched on the first alarm. If our medic unit or chase car is first on scene our first responsibility is to patient care. If there are no patients then we gear up and assist with fire suppression or any other fire ground operations. The mutual aid medic becomes in charge of medical and rehab until the operation can be scaled back and completed. This agency operates under the greater Miami Valley protocol. We average around 1200 EMS calls a year and around 500 fir calls a year.
