I have been in the industry for over 20 years. I started at my current employer shortly after high school fueling trucks and learned my way into the shop as a mechanic. After a few years of excelling as a technician I was moved into a lead mechanic / shift forman position. Some time after a need arose in the company for someone who was proficient with computers and knew trucks and repairs for work order repair line coding. I was moved into the Shop Administrator position, and assist other departments with various tasks such as parts ordering, inventory, warranty, training etc.
