Summary

Eager nurse practitioner student with a well-rounded background in the surgical operations department with a desire to learn the basic concepts of primary care. The first semester of clinicals will begin in January, and the corresponding course will be Health Assessment and Differential Diagnosis. The ideal expectation is one patient per hour for 90 hours. That hour will consist of gathering appropriate H&P, critically thinking through data collected, preparing an organized presentation to the preceptor, documenting findings, and then accompanying the preceptor into the patient's room to observe the preceptor's approach to the patient. This clinical experience aims to learn how to think like a practitioner while shifting my approach toward patient care. I would appreciate the opportunity to work with a practitioner who cares as much as I do. If interested, please get in touch with me, and I will be happy to provide more information. Thank you for reading!
