Education

Bachelor of Science -

Rowan University

Associate of Science -

Camden County College

Skills

E-IDS, ERAM, Docker, Linux/Unix, Bash Scripting, Kornshell, Java, GitHub, C#/Unity, C++, HTML, CSS, MySQL, Microsoft Office, Exceed On Demand (EOD) Client, Microstation (CAD), HCS

Notable Projects

  • Wrote multiple bash scripts to assist members of E-IDS ESI Team and Test Team to more easily maintain and update lab configurations.
  • Developed E-IDS formal test plans and procedures across numerous serial and SWIM interfaces. Interfaces include CSS-Wx, NCMS NOTAM, SAA, RMLS, Submit PIREP Service, FDIO, RVR, AWOS-C, ASOS, SAWS, SWS-S, SWS-W, and DASI.
  • Developed a regression procedure for E-IDS T&T environment.
  • Developed numerous SWIM/serial interface simulations for E-IDS testing on ESI Team and Test Team.
  • Wrote a kornshell script to assist members of the SYNCIF test team to perform Data Reduction & Analysis (DR&A) for the SWIM interface regression tests.
  • Experience executing ERAM interface regression tests across numerous interfaces and performing associated DR&A. Interfaces include SWIM/TFMS, DataComm, NADIN, RAP, NEXRAD, WMSCR, FDIO, ATOP, EDDS, ADS-B.
  • Worked on numerous uplevels in order to integrate new software into SYNCIF regression test procedures.
  • Developed/maintain several test scenarios for SYNCIF regression testing and uplevels.
  • Experience training SYNCIF new hires on lab bringup, regression test execution, and DR&A.
  • Developed software in a team of 3 for a text-based battleship game. The game was programmed solely in Java using the NetBeans IDE. It is a single player battleship game that mimics the board game of the same name, where the player would place their ships on a board and then be prompted to enter the coordinates for an attack on the AI’s board. A text-based battleship board would be updated and displayed for every entry. The AI would then select a coordinate to attack on the player’s board and a text-based battleship board would be updated and displayed. This software was developed for Computer Science II at Camden County College (Professor Anita Wright).
  • Developed software independently for a Trip Generation calculator with intent to be used at Shropshire Associates. The program was developed solely with C++ using the Visual Studio 2012 IDE. The user would enter a land use code and the size of a development and the program would calculate how much traffic volume that development generates. The land use codes and equations used by the program are all found in the ITE (Institute of Transportation Engineers) Trip Generation Manual, 9th edition.
  • Worked in a team to develop a task manager application for Senior Project (Professor Ganesh Baliga) in my Fall 2017 semester at Rowan University. The application was programmed in Java using the Eclipse IDE. The goal of this project was to develop a record keeping method for task items. A user would create a task item and it would be stored in a database. A Java-developed GUI pulled the information from the database and displayed it to a user. Upon completion of a task, a user has the ability to mark tasks complete.
  • Worked in a team to develop a VR Search Visualization simulation for a battleship's radar beam for a Software Engineering course (Professor Jack Myers) in my Spring 2018 semester at Rowan University. The simulation was developed using the Unity game engine and C# scripts. The simulation could read in CSV files containing radar beam data and airborne target data. CSV files can either be read in from the local machine or from a server via a socket connection. The data read in would be interpreted by the simulation and then airborne target objects would be generated in the Unity scene and the battleship's radar beam would be generated at its initial angle. The airborne targets are initially not visible in the scene. When the simulation starts, the radar beam will search a given area while the airborne targets are moving. When the radar beam detects an airborne target, the target appears and then slowly fades into transparency. The detection data is logged and can be written to a CSV file.
  • Extensive work using Microstation for Designing and Drafting Traffic Signal Plans, Traffic Control Plans, and Right-Of-Way Plans and also for drawing schematics illustrating traffic volume data.
  • Numerous traffic engineering assessments completed utilizing the Highway Capacity Software (HCS).
