At the Hyatt Regency I perform barista skills as well as making food orders for guests. I'm always keeping my area clean and organized as the night goes on along with stocking. Taking care of our guests is something I take pride in and making sure their stay is as great as the guest anticipated.

Market- I got to have the experience of a lifetime helping start up a business. I’ve met with many local vendors, data entry, interviewed possible team members, led the market, done various research on item products. This all gave me the opportunity to lead my own ship and become independent. Being a startup also means speaking up out of your comfort zone, I am not shy when it comes to speaking to others especially customers or meeting with vendors! Communication is absolute key in this industry.

Farmer- I’ve had the pleasure of working hands on in the hydroponic farm. Everything is extremely detailed and meticulous. Physical and mental work come from farming but anything is fun as long as you’re having a good time while doing it!!

My first job that I fell in love with was a barista. I was given the skills of relating with my customers/regulars while focusing on espresso drinks. I also worked in the back kitchen where I enjoyed it a tad more, making simple yet delicious breakfast sandwiches. I made long lasting friendships there and the ability to work great under pressure.
