I am responsible for seventeen employees who are a mix of material managers and fork truck drivers. My focus is on safety and inventory accuracy. My goal is to ensure material arrives at the point of use, in order for operations to execute their build plan. My team also works to return material to it's correct storage locations in order to maintain inventory accuracy. I also hold daily end of shift meetings that focuses on safety and any improvements my team would like to see, focused on doing our job safely. I also work to maintain misses per unit, as delivering parts is important but delivering the correct parts is utmost. Quality is also an important factor. Getting the material it's point of use safely and undamaged is a priority. I also set my manpower needs and ensure I have the right team to be successful.

Lead analyst for the Large Mining Truck product working directly with the operations team and supply chain to ensure critical issues are resolved. MRC coordinator for the Decatur facility which is the collaboration tool between Caterpillar and the supply base. Ship day of the week coordinator for the facility. Working directly on the project to move two new products to the Decatur facility, Large Wheel Loaders and Compactors. Manage both internal suppliers as well as external suppliers on delivery of materials for production. Currently managing between 800 and 900 schedules a month however prior to the current project managed upwards of 1300 schedules per month. Work with suppliers to achieve and maintain 95% ship performance. Collaborate with the quality team when issues arise to insure replacement parts are delivered on time. Works with the purchasing team to ensure supplier performance as well as establish recovery plans when suppliers are not performing at a satisfactory level.
