Using organizational tools to streamline the vertical and horizontal alignment of CO state standards within the curriculum is crucial to the success of both teachers and their students. Setting data driven goals, performing ongoing evaluations for effectiveness, and maintaining consistency are key components of successful implementation to any curriculum. With the resources, experience, and knowledge I have gained within the EOSD over twenty years as an educator, I feel ready to take on the challenge of supporting the districts efforts to develop a sustainable platform to implement and succeed with a guaranteed viable and rigorous curriculum.
