• Develops, implements and communicates the mission, vision, values and goals for Occupational Health Services of the Columbus Community Hospital, Inc.
• Responsible for the long range plan, strategic and operational plans as well as budgets, resources, policies and procedures.
• Organizes, coordinates, directs, and provides services offered by Occupational Health Services.
• Coordinates the OHS DOT Consortium program. Responsible for the investigation of positive drug screen results in conjunction with a Medical Review Officer and MRO Assistant to ensure consistency and accuracy with the drug screen process.
• Manages departmental staffing requirements.
• Represents and markets the Occupational Health program to customers.
• Provides a liaison between Occupational Health Services, and other CCH departments, physician clinics, contracted services and other customers.
• Coordinates employer luncheon program.
• Maintains a broad knowledge base in Occupational Health including state and federal regulations.
• Establishes a performance improvement plan to measure, assess and improve the processes and outcomes of Occupational Health Services.
• Assures an accurate and timely billing process.
• Completes all reporting required including monthly fiscal reports.

• Established a culture of continuous improvement by fostering open communication channels and empowering employees to voice their ideas.

• Nursing duties to include: Drug screen collections, alcohol testing, on call requirement for after hours post accident testing, immunizations, pre-employment physicals, nurse assessments, Physical Capacity Profile testing, DOT physicals, respiratory testing, hearing testing, phlebotomy, and on site nursing.
• Duo Lift safety consulting, Competency File and Licensure management, Infection Control QA, Post Exposure management, OHS QA – R&E management, OHS PCP QA management, BD Wellness management, Columbus Public Schools random drug testing program, Simply Well onsite wellness lead, Incident Log and Accident Investigation Log management, OSHA Log management, Environmental Safety Committee, Patient Education Team, Shared Governance Practice Council and Unit Based Council.
• I serve as a liaison between Columbus Community Hospital employees and our current workers compensation carrier, Risk Administrative Services.
• I also coordinate medical appointments, provide follow up and help them navigate through the workers compensation process.

• Answering phones, scheduling and coordinating appointments between medical clinics and ancillary services, drug screen collections, alcohol testing, DOT physicals, respiratory testing, hearing testing, phlebotomy, drug screen reporting, MRO interview assistant, company paperwork processing, safety consulting and workers compensation management.
