Danielle Johnson

As a secretary director, I assist the secretary of the Pre-dental Student Association of UCF with a variety of tasks including:

• Managing and updating the member points system of 300+ members of the club
• Keeping the member calendar up to date weekly
• Organizing and hosting social events
• Answering questions presented by members in discord
• Composing the weekly email sent out to members

• Organize General body meetings, workshops, and social events.
• Create flyers and other creative tools to market the club.
• Manage social media platforms.

I dedicate one day a week to volunteering as an Intern at Grace Medical Home, helping to provide free/discounted dental treatment to members of my community. Some of my daily tasks include:

• Assisting 15+ different doctors with a variety fo procedures
• Informing my patients about proper and preventative oral hygiene
• Scheduling patients for their next appointments
• Sterilizing instruments and rooms
• Communicating with the rest of my intern team, since we all volunteer at the office on different days

Once a week, I volunteer as a K-12 tutor at a local homeless shelter.

• Support students with helpful study habits and exam strategies.
• Collaborat with students to complete homework assignments.
• Motivated students towards learning and studying to build self-confidence and reduce fear of failure.

• Provided chairside assistance during examinations, improving dentist efficiency and patient satisfaction.
• Sanitized trays, instruments, and surfaces for clean dental office environment and patient safety.
• Performed x-rays, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images for dentists'' evaluations.
• Prepared and arranged instruments, medications, and required materials for dental procedures.
• Documented patient dental health information, medical history, and vital signs for future reference.
• Managed inventory of dental supplies, reducing waste and optimizing resource allocation.
