Renal Dialysis (2021-2022 and 1995-2014)

Full time RN within renal dialysis department providing direct patient care to patients on hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. 7 years (2004-2011) experience as acute care dialysis RN, providing bedside care to patients in an ICU setting that require SLED or hemodialysis. 3 years (2011-2014) in the outpatient setting in Charge RN role overseeing busy 25 chair unit, on site clinical supervision and staff education. Collaboration with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and quality of life.

ICU/CCU (1994-1995 and 2018-2021)

Full time RN within a mixed ICU setting. Provided direct patient care to adults within the ICU environment. Care included vent management, hemodynamic management, IV medication titration, cardiac monitoring, management of substance abuse overdose/acute detox, as well as acute COVID care, often using paralytic agents.

Wound Care Center (2014-2018)

Full time RN in outpatient wound care clinic. Care included management of diabetic wounds, venous-stasis ulcers, arterial wounds, pressure wounds, surgical wounds, etc. Experience in application of TCC and NPWT. Patient education in key areas of optimizing wound healing. Current certification WCC.
