Assist 4 surgeons in the inpatient and outpatient setting. Manage new consultations, pre and post surgical patients at both the Hinsdale and La Grange campus.

Perform physical exams, ordering and evaluating diagnostic tests. Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams. Provide patient care in a competent, professional and courteous manner.

Assist vascular surgeons in the care of their patient. Provide daily inpatient coverage at 3 community hospitals as well as outpatient clinic coverage as needed. Responsible for all vascular surgery consultations, preoperative and post operative care. Proficient with Radiofrequency ablations of varicose veins, suturing and bedside procedures. Assist with fellow APN scheduling and yearly reviews.

Floated between 4 emergency departments in the Amita Health Network. Cared for all patient populations from birth to geriatrics both independent and in collaboration with physicians diagnosing and treating illness. Procedures including suturing, incision and drainage, splints and first aid.

Managed 16 bed Level 2 Trauma Center with 42 Direct Reports. Provided staff counseling, terminations, hiring and annual evaluations. Monitored productivity and ensured annual budget goals were met. Payroll and schedule production.

Assisted in protocols and guidelines for best practice treatment of cardiac patients. Tracked data related to the throughput of cardiac patients. Educated nursing and ancillary staff on best practices in the treatment of ACS patients.
