years of professional experience

I am a human being who has been on a healing journey for the past 4 years being in consciousness of myself. Healing from; codependency, a negative belief system rooted in a deep shame core, a negative mindset, a disorganized attachment style, trauma(severe relational, and sexual) core wounding, including severe parental wounds, & abandonment. Alcohol and control were my two major coping mechanisms. I have been an active member of AA since May 2022, involved in consistent service work of moderating a weekly meeting and sponsoring women and being sponsored myself. Working the 12 step program as my way of life since then. I also moderate an ACA meeting once a month. I began an Emotional Sobriety meeting at a local art hub about 6 months ago, studying Allen Berger's book; the 12 Essential Insights of Emotional Sobriety.

Part of my healing has also been somatic, healing my nervous system, through breath, movement and meditation-being an active member of Recovery 2.0 for almost 3 years. Daily practice of this work. I have completed a 30 hour breathwork course and am now working on a 200 hour yoga course with Kia Miller starting in September. Teaching the somatic healing is something I am also passionate about. Consistency, dedication, discipline, humility, connectedness and vulnerability have brought me to a place of great healing and stability in my life today.

I believe that I am a being who encompasses the empathetic and humanistic qualities that could greatly contribute to the mental, emotional, and spiritual health of the residents of Divided Sky. Sharing my experience, strength and hope as to guide others back home to themselves. Healing in community and holding space for others emotions and experience is the most valuable trait we possess in this environment.

"Anxiety is the echo of the moments we felt alone-healing begins when we come home to ourselves"Paul Noiles
