As the Deputy Chief of Resource Management for the Phoenix Fire Department, I oversee the strategic management of resources for a metropolitan fire service supporting over 1,800 personnel. I lead operational oversight of a 297-unit fleet, including engines, ladders, rescues, and specialty apparatus, ensuring readiness and reliability. I leverage data-driven strategies to evaluate programs, enhance recruitment efforts, and align resource allocation with departmental goals. Collaborating with executive leadership, I develop long-term plans, secure funding, and implement innovative solutions that enhance frontline safety and efficiency, while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

As a Battalion Chief I engaged in the management and supervision of nine fire stations, overseeing 50 personnel operating 20 distinct fire apparatus. My job duties also included:

• Evaluated new technologies or methods for improving operational effectiveness and safety procedures.
• Established and maintained effective relationships with subordinates, peers, and superiors to ensure successful completion of assigned tasks.
• Formulated plans for firefighting operations in response to emergency incidents and other related situations.

As a Captain with the Phoenix Fire Department, I provided leadership and oversight for operations, personnel, and resources to ensure effective emergency response and public safety. I managed frontline teams and equipment, including engines, ladders, and rescues, ensuring readiness and operational efficiency. I played a key role in implementing training programs, enhancing crew performance, and fostering a culture of safety and accountability. Utilizing data-driven approaches, I contributed to program evaluations and resource optimization, aligning team objectives with departmental goals. I collaborated with leadership to address operational challenges, secure resources, and deliver innovative solutions that improved response times, efficiency, and firefighter safety.

As a Firefighter Paramedic with the Phoenix Fire Department, I provided exceptional pre-hospital care and emergency medical services to a diverse community, ensuring the highest standard of customer service and patient outcomes. I responded to a wide range of medical and trauma emergencies, delivering advanced life support (ALS) care with precision and compassion. I excelled in high-pressure situations, utilizing critical thinking and effective communication to assess patient needs, stabilize conditions, and coordinate care with hospitals and other first responders. Committed to community engagement, I educated residents on health and safety practices, fostering trust and building strong relationships.
