Worked at FIS for 30 years and 10 Months. Again I started at the bottom and worked my way up, learning and continually growing. I have worked in 5 different areas over the 30 years with the majority of the time working with SQL in Reporting and Database Analysts functions.

• Created, Monitored, and updated SQL Agent jobs to pull in and process data.
• Logged and tracked Local SQL Logins and our Groups AD Logins to ensure passwords were reset on yearly basis to meet Security requirements.
• Assisted in managing data in databases. Routinely we were asked to Update, Insert and Delete data.
• Worked with Application Development teams to Create and Alter Tables, Functions, Stored Procedures and Views.
• Maintained SSRS Reporting Site. Regularly Backed up reports using a Powershell script on the server.
• Created and Updated SSRS Reports for users.
• Managed Subscriptions on the SSRS Reports for users.
• Maintained up-to-date documentation on database structures, procedures, and user guides for efficient knowledge sharing among team members.
• Recently working with SSMA ( SQL Server Migration Assistant) to Convert from Oracle database to SQL Database.
• Troubleshot database issues promptly, reducing downtime and ensuring uninterrupted access to vital information resources.
• Oversaw regular software updates and patches for database systems to maintain security compliance and optimal performance levels.
• Modified databases to meet needs and goals determined during planning process.
• Developed and updated databases to handle customer data.

Started working with the Reporting Group to produce Monthly SLA Reports for some of out Clients. Later we also started creating reports for the Company on Incidents, Change Requests and Service Requests for Daily Weekly and Monthly needs.

Worked with Mainframe DASD, Virtual Tape Devices and Automated Tape Machines.

Started working as a Night-time JCL Analyst monitoring job flow, fixing abends and rerunning production batch when necessary. Also contacted and worked with Cobol Programmers to repair any broken jobs. Later moved to days preparing schedules for night and working with Cobol Programmers.

Started as a Computer Operator Monitoring Several Mainframe consoles and Tape Drives.

Worked as Dillard's for 9 years in 4 different areas.
