- I am currently employed as an Electrical Designer at IC Thomasson. I stepped into this role with no prior design experience and quickly excelled. I attribute this success to a strong work ethic, years of field experience, and the guidance of those who invested in my development.
- I am highly proficient in creating one-line diagrams, sizing cables, and designing complete electrical infrastructure systems. My project experience is rooted in heavy industrial work—data centers, on-site power generation facilities, CHP systems, and other large-scale generation projects. Beyond that, I’ve contributed to a wide range of complex projects, including the Nashville Airport duct bank system, major wastewater and water recycling plants, large-scale battery manufacturing facilities, automotive manufacturing facilities, EPMS design, and numerous others.
- My role involves taking a project from concept to completion. This includes developing main one‑line diagrams, sizing and modeling conduits (ductbanks) and cable trays, lighting plans, power plans, fire alarm systems, grounding systems, and all other documentation required for a fully constructible electrical design package. In addition to the electrical scope, I work closely with all other disciplines, including mechanical, plumbing, telecommunications, fire protection, architectural, and structural teams—to create a fully coordinated and integrated design. This collaboration ensures that systems align spatially, functionally, and technically, resulting in a complete, conflict‑free set of construction documents.

- Throughout each project, I collaborate closely with the construction team to ensure field conditions and contractor needs are fully supported. I participate in multiple coordination calls daily to review design progress, ask and answer technical questions, and maintain clear communication so that clients are confident in our diligence and direction.
- Review and answer RFI ensuring products meet all specifications.
- I have also had the opportunity to mentor several new graduates, teaching them how to design electrical systems and equipping them with the tools and knowledge they need to be successful in this field.
