Serving as the Maintenance Control Sergeant in a Forward Support Company in support of a Combines Arms Battalion; responsible for the health, welfare, and directly supervise junior enlisted soldiers in performance of duties and responsibilities. Assigned as the Readiness NCO, responsible for a unit of 74 soldiers in all aspects of unit readiness, training management, mobilization planning, logistics, and personnel actions.

Contacted, interviewed and advised potential Recruits about the benefits of the Washing Army National Guard. Also was responsible for the screening and processing of all applicants to ensure they meet the requirements for enlistment.

Served as an Instructor for the Recruit Sustainment Program. Duties included preparing Recruits for Basic and Advanced Individual Training.

Maintained personnel records and statistical data to establish accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations. Conducted routine HR audits to ensure data accuracy in personnel files, payroll records, and benefit enrollments. Facilitated smooth onboarding processes for new hires, leading to faster integration into the workplace culture. Assisted employees in resolving conflicts through mediation services, leading to improved working relationships among team members.

Communicated effectively with superiors and subordinates alike, facilitating smooth execution of orders during high-stress situations. Developed soldier skills by providing guidance on marksmanship, physical fitness, and tactical maneuvers. Maintained strict discipline within the ranks enforcing adherence to military standards and regulations. Performed as fire team member during situational training exercises and infantry dismounted battle drills. Deployed to Iraq in 2009 as a Vehicle Commander, supervised my driver and was responsible the safe transportation of fellow soldiers while conduct combat missions.
