I’m a community engagement producer with experience developing and implementing strategies to connect with various communities with reporters and staff members from my newsroom. Activities

  • Along with five other news organizations, I represented WFAE for the NC Media Equity Project through Elon University NC Local News Workshop. This workshop aimed to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in news and public affairs information for the state's residents.
  • I participated in the Upward: NC leadership development program for journalists of color.
  • I volunteered at Cochrane Collegiate Academy, where I assisted teachers in teaching their students about essential journalism.
