As a physical therapist technician, I play a vital role in getting patients ready to start their treatment plan. I greet patients at the door and bring them into the therapy room where I then would get them warmed up on a heat pack. I would communicate with the therapist and see if they needed any help with guiding their patients through their exercises. I also made sure the clinic and all the equipment was sanitized before every patient. I also did tasks such as sweep, mop, wash and fold laundry. I would also restock dry needles and any things needed for dry needling such as alcohol wipes.

As a chiropractic technician, I would greet patients at the door and bring them back into a patient room where I sit for a few minutes and ask where their pain is at that day. I would also communicate with the Chiropractor incase there were any new symptoms or pain. I would then perform ultrasound, a massage, use hot rocks, and hook them up to e-stim. Other responsibilities I have are taking x-rays (if needed), pull IV's, administer shots, put patients in cervical and lumbar traction, and scan their spine. I would also check patients' blood pressure, hearing, eye sight, and urine analysis.
