  • Write daily reports, maintain logs of inmate activity, and preform hourly security checks to ensure the safety of inmates, along with structure of the facility. Conduct physical searches of inmates in search of weapons and contraband. Respond to emergency situations and de-escalate any ongoing situation. Physically restrain inmates during physical or medical situations to maintain officer and inmate safety while using department issued control holds and reasonable force.

  • A.E.S is the Admissions, Evaluation and Stabilization unit. A.E.S houses Incarcerated Persons (I/P) that have been found incompetent to stand trial. A.E.S is a specialized unit that is ran by specialized Detention Deputies. After doing a numerous amount of overtime for A.E.S I was eventually tdy'd to that unit. I spent approximately two months as a tdy and then I officially got picked up on the team.
