I enjoy reading immensely. Besides my own personal reading, I read to my husband every evening and to my grandchildren whenever possible. I write devotions, poems, and songs. I enjoy both producing them and sharing them with whomever might be encouraged by them. Hiking with friends is a delightful activity; currently, the highest elevation mountain I have conquered is Mount Baden-Powell at nine thousand plus feet. I enjoy pruning rose bushes and planting zucchini when I can (then I make zucchini bread)! The simpler the sewing project the better! Each of my grandchildren has a pillowcase that I thoroughly enjoying making for them; one granddaughter has a sweater I crocheted for her. Finally, I love going to plays and ballets; if I know anyone who is performing, as I sometimes do, I love it even more!
