• Shop with a Cop Event with Bowie Police Academy: As a volunteer, I had the opportunity to help with event planning, kid-guiding throughout the store, and packaging up all the gifts the kids had won.
• National Night Out: I had the opportunity to assist with setting up games and face painting for the kids, among other fun events for the community. I even assisted with serving everyone's meals and beverages.
• Growing Green with Pride (Bowie, MD): In my experience, I watered the veggies, weeded the garden beds, and planted fresh flowers. In an effort to promote eco-friendly habits and lessen waste, I additionally composted food wastes.
