Saint Hedwig

Summary

With over 20 years of firefighting knowledge, training, and experience, I have witnessed the evolution of the fire service from manual pump panels to electronic and open cab trucks to closed cab. Throughout my 16 years as a volunteer firefighter, I consistently responded to calls day and night, and manned the station every Friday-Saturday and Sunday. Progressing from firefighter to Lieutenant, I was eventually offered a full-time position as an Engineer. In this role, I dedicated myself to training new volunteers as well as co-workers by sharing my expertise and providing valuable feedback. Additionally, I efficiently maintained both paper and digital fire and medical reporting. As someone who is always eager to learn, I actively seek out training opportunities that benefit not only the department but also the community we serve.
