  • A Fire Captain is the highest-ranking officer on shift. They are the Shift Commander for all stations in the City. They are responsible for all administrative duties for their unit. They are ultimately responsible for the supervision of all personnel, work performed and training at all stations in the City. The Fire Captain is also responsible for the care and maintenance of all quarters and equipment in the City, the discipline of personnel on their unit as well as being the Incident Commander on all emergency situations when called upon.
