Served as a Recycle Supervisor for twelve years at the Architect of the Capitol. Managed the operations of recycling ensuring employees met the standards established by agency’s recycle program. I was responsible for ensuring that employees, have the required supplies, equipment and personal protective equipment to perform duties in a safe environment. Assigned specific tasks to be completed, inspected quality of work and evaluated employees on performance to ensure compliance and efficiency. Prepared reports and documents using micro-soft office and submitted to management. I was the primary point of contact for providing guidance, solving problems and coming up with solutions to ensure continued coordination of workflow and provide the best possible service to customers (Senators, Staffers, Congressman). As a team member, I performed recycle duties as needed which included sorting, collecting and bailing recycle bins. I also trained employees on recycle program processes and operations. I approved and disapproved time and attendance using a federal government time and attendance web-based data base. I coordinated work schedules to ensure coverage to meet agency’s mission.
