Research

Accuracy of Gluten-Free Food Labeling in Europe and the Middle East , CAPITAL UNIVERSITY Biology Department, Spring Semester 2022,


The efficiency of gluten-free labeling in Europe and Middle East was studied. Over 50 samples, obtained from 18 different countries, that were labeled as “gluten-free” were tested to compare the accuracy of international food labeling to those from the United States. The research showed that international samples were more accurately labeled than those manufactured and labeled in the U.S.
