Purcellville Volunteer Rescue Squad – August 21' - Today

• Patient Care Leadership (AIC): Acted as the lead provider on BLS units, responsible for patient assessment, care decisions, and documentation in accordance with Loudoun County EMS protocols.
• Medical Decision-Making: Determined appropriate interventions, managed patient transport decisions, and coordinated care with ALS providers and receiving facilities.
• Ambulance Operations (Driver): Operated emergency vehicles under lights-and-sirens conditions; navigated safely to scenes and hospitals while maintaining crew and public safety.
• Risk & Safety Management: Ensured ambulance readiness through daily equipment and vehicle checks; accountable for operational compliance and safe transport.
• Team Coordination: Directed crew members during calls, delegated tasks, and communicated effectively with dispatch, hospitals, and on-scene agencies.
