July 2017 to January 2020 I was assigned to the Workers' Compensation Fraud Unit..

I investigated Applicant fraud, Premium Fraud, and Provider fraud cases. This consisted of working with insurance companies claims adjusters, investigators and their management. I conducted hundreds of hours of surveillance. Interviewed insureds, claimants, suspects, etc. Cases were investigated and prepared for criminal filing by our DDA. I have testified in court during preliminary hearings and jury trials.

January 2020 to present time I am assigned to the Auto Insurance Fraud unit. I am BERLA certified and EDR certified. I contact insurance companies and interview their claims adjusters, investigators, and their insureds. I locate and interview witnesses and claimants. I have authored hundreds of search warrants during my investigations as a police officer / detective.

Cases are prepared for criminal filing. Once the cases are filed I have assisted with subpoena service, arrest warrant execution and testimony in court.

I have worked as a patrolman in an assigned beat handling radio calls for service. I have authored hundreds of police reports ranging from basic theft to murders. I have made hundreds of arrests on the streets in this capacity.

I was assigned as a Traffic Bureau detective for 6 years where I handled a large majority of the traffic collisions that occurred in the city. I investigated all hit and run collisions which often resulted in criminal charges being filed. I am certifid in Accident Reconstruction through POST.

I was assigned as a Detective for five years working fraud to murders. My primary assignment was crimes against persons which included assaults, robberies and homicides. I have authored hundreds of search warrants and initiated hundreds of arrests.
