• Northrup Grumman, Industrial Journeyman Electrician, 06/2023-Current. My work tasks required me to work on high voltage transmission lines on site, transformers, chemical control systems, generators, HVAC controls, fire alarm, data, communication and explosive material control systems. Add new systems, rebuild all types of equipment that needed to be done.
• Newfold Digital, Critical Electrical Engineer 12/2022-06/2023. The tasks I performed at this facility was to perfrom PM's to the HVAC units, chillers, electrical gear, transfer switches and generators. Also provide 24/7 coverage to make sure all of server farms stayed running so customer websites could continue to run. Also I was involved in adding in outside air systems to bring down the costs of cooling the server farms and saving electrical power and enrgy costs.
• L-3 Communications, Project Manager, 10/2002-03/2020, Multiple jobs that have required the coordination of the contractors, sub-contractors and our internal trades. I have managed many jobs on our site that range from total site conversion to PROX card readers ($150k), X Prototype Lab ($300k), E NGJ Lab ($400k) and currently the P592 labs ($600k). This position has required me to rely on my past construction experience to be able to keep in budget, read prints, submit prints and deal with inspections.
• Wasatch Control Systems, Lead-low voltage tech, 06/2003-04/2005, I worked as the Lead technician with Wasatch Controls. My responsibilities included service and repairs of low voltage control systems at several locations including CSW. Primarily working on security controls, access controls, and camera installation and HVAC controls
• Future-Tech Inc., Electrician/Low-voltage service technician, 11/2002-04/2003, My responsibilities for this company were installations of Camera, Access Control, Security and Burglary alarms. I also worked as a repair technician doing troubleshooting and repair of many types of electrical field systems. My duties also included the electrical service installation.
