Summary

I believe I would be a great asset to the Mission Foods team as a mechanic because I am highly mechanically inclined of various systems, and how to operate safely, and isolate power sources safely if work needs to be performed and test to be certain there will be no power before entering. I am highly motivated, and eager to learn new skills. I do not " cut corners " in order to get a job completely quickly as it may result in something worse happening. I also believe I would be a good asset because I have good leadership skills, and I would like to do acceptionally well, and potentially move up the chain. Thank you for taking this time, and I hope I am a good candidate for the Mechanics team at Mission Foods!

Work History

Machine Operator

Freedom Corrugated
09.2021 - Current

While machine was running at high rates of speed ( 1000+ FPS ) I had to be sure that the paper was in correct alignment, that the temperature of rollers were always correct, gaps were set, and paper grade and type were also correct and set for next run. During shut down, I needed to examine rollers and tighten any lose bolts on red eye sensors and adjust, and clean so paper could properly shift when necessary while uptime and running. During cleaning, machines needed to be locked out, and tested to make sure there was no power going to the machines before entering the equipment. On some pieces of equipment there were multiple power sources, both electrical, and pneumatic.

As the owner of the company, I was responsible for all ongoing, and finished projects. Acquiring any type of licenses, or permits necessary in order to follow ordinances to be able to build/renovate, or demo an area. Also, safety and well-being of the employees. I have exceptional customer service, and sales experience. I am able to gain and comprehend new skills quickly. I also had to train new employees on different tools, such as nail guns, passloads, 22shell nailers. I also had to do my own taxes. I was on site 100% of the time.
