As a school bus monitor, my main responsibility is ensuring the safety and well-being of students during their daily rides to and from school. I supervise the students on the bus to make sure everyone stays seated, follows the rules, and behaves properly to avoid any disruptions. It's crucial for me to enforce safety protocols and assist in emergency procedures if necessary. I also help students, especially the younger ones and those with disabilities, as they board and exit the bus, ensuring they do so safely and orderly.

I act as a vital communication link between the students and the bus driver. This role involves relaying important messages that might affect the bus schedule or safety conditions. I'm also tasked with managing attendance and keeping records to ensure all students are accounted for during each trip. My job extends to assisting the bus driver by watching out for traffic hazards and helping manage any student issues that arise. Whether it's providing comfort to a distressed student or handling minor health concerns, I'm there to support and ensure a secure and supportive environment for all the students while they're on the bus.
