• Teach the new linemen our area, switch points, and best practices to get the lights back on and work safely

Supervise 10 troubleworkers on rotating shifts in 3 service centers.

Ensure safe work practices and monthly safety meetings held

Supervise daily work and storm restoration efforts by being on scene at trouble locations. 24/7/365

Complete on average 20 crew visits per month to observe work and correct unsafe practices

Build and Maintain Distribution and Subtransmission lines as well as occasional transmission work

Operate various equipment including Digger trucks, Buckets, Track machine, Bulldozer, 18 Wheeler, small crane truck.

Climb wood poles and the rare steel structure to complete work and repairs.

Lead younger crewmen with a positive attitude and reinforce adherence to safety rules

Restore service to affected customers after a storm

When necessary contact DCC for line clearances to enable grounding the line and prevent unintentional energization of lines being worked on

Read Meters for billing purposes

Collect on past due accounts

Perform service orders such as Meter Testing and replacement, Disconnects for non pay, and connecting new customers

Assist line crew on major outages as well as Damage assessment
