David Dykstra

I have been conducting private lessons (guitar and drums) for the last several years. In that time I have written and recorded and performed on multiple albums by The Royal Half Circle, Blixa Bamonte, Gerry Mander & the Variants, and QUEENS.

I was the lead music coach and live event coordinator for Empire Performance Studio.

I developed and oversaw the music lesson program at MPS. We had a modest staff of 5 teachers and conducted lessons and put on performances that showcased our students abilities.

I was a drum instructor and Rock Project Master Instructor. I was also the Student Showcase lead instructor for events at Upland Women’s Club. I also organized the inaugural Alta Loma Teacher Concert that involved instructors from both the Rancho Cucamonga and Corona locations. I have received multiple awards and citations including three Teacher of the Year honors .
