At PR Fuel, I excelled in crisis management and verbal communication, adeptly restoring communication post-natural disasters by re-powering cell towers and fiber optic sites nationwide. My analytical skills ensured efficient problem-solving, significantly enhancing emergency response times and maintaining high professionalism under pressure.
While doing communication restoration, I would travel the country after a natural disaster hit, and I would bring power back to cell phone towers or fiber optic sites. The work would range from fixing and maintaining generators to bringing mobile generators in on a trailer and supplying power back to the substations with them. And while the power was still out, every day I would travel to multiple generators and refuel them until the power came back on, and then we would disconnect and return them to storage. Another part of the job would be to show up before a storm and sand bag around electrical equipment before heavy rains, go refuel generators known as bau's, and do maintenance while weather was good to prepare for the next storm. It was a fairly simple job once i got the understanding of connecting the generators to the electrical supply of the towers.
