Developed skills in a fast paced emergency environment with a background as a 911 Emergency Medical Technician ready to transition into a new field and environment. • National Emergency Medical Technician Certification- Certified by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians as an Emergency Medical Technician.
• Colorado Emergency Medical Technician Certification- Certified by the State of Colorado as an Emergency Medical Technician and able to operate as such.
• CPR/BLS Certification- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR, skilled in life-saving techniques for adults, children, and infants, including AED use and emergency response. Certified from both American Heart Association and Red Cross.
• IV Certification- Certified in IV, IO, IM, IN therapy as an EMT in Colorado, demonstrating competency in initiating and managing intravenous along with other forms of access. Trained in fluid administration, IV catheter placement, and related emergency protocols.
• FEMA 5A: Completed FEMA 5A, focusing on the identification, handling, and response procedures for hazardous materials in emergency situations.
• IS-100.c: Completed in FEMA IS-100.c, covering the fundamentals of the Incident Command System (ICS) for coordinated emergency response.
• IS-700.b: Completed FEMA IS-700.b, emphasizing the structure and principles of the National Incident Management System (NIMS) for interagency collaboration.
