• Operation of all types of equipment, including excavators, backhoes, bobcats, dozers, front-end loaders, pavers, rollers, cranes, and all types of trucks.
• ASE Master Truck Certifications.

• Brake systems - A) Brake drums and shoes, slack adjuster bushing, rod, “s” cam, air canisters, air suspension bags, R-12 and R-14 valves, airlines, air dryers, quick release valves, master cylinders, wheel cylinders, slave cylinders, anti-lock brakes, hydrostatic brakes. B) Replacement of brake shoes, slack adjusters, bushings, air valves, airlines, quick-release valves, master and wheel cylinders, slave and clutch cylinders, anti-lock brake shoes and wiring, removal, and overhaul of hydrostatic valves in hydraulic systems. C) Complete understanding and use of ABS Diagnostic software systems for WABCO AND BENDIX.
• Hydraulics - A) Hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, and open and close positioning valves. B) Hydraulic pump and motor overhaul and replacement. Cylinder removal and overhaul, as necessary. Valve removal, overhaul, and replacement. C) Hydraulic testing equipment included Pressure gauges, positioning of booms, or a lack of movement test. Visual checks for leaks. Applying pressure to check for accuracy.
• Transmissions - A) Eaton, Fuller, and Rockwell Standard transmissions. All Ford and General Motors, Massey Ferguson, New Holland, and Kubota standard transmissions. Allison, Ford, and General Motors' automatic transmissions. Caterpillar, Link-Belt, John Deere, Komatsu, Massey Ferguson, and Ford/New Holland hydrostatic (wet clutches) transmission removal and overhaul. B) Complete standard transmission removal, overhaul, and installation, including gears, shifting rods, bearings, and seals. Allison transmission service and overhaul. Ford and General Motors transmission service, overhaul, and installation. C) Pressure gauges and measuring. D) Testing pressure in the automatic transmission for specifications. Standard transmission testing included shifting sequence, shifting smoothness, or roughness.
• Engines - A) All Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Isuzu, Ford, General Motors, Komatsu, John Deere, Massey Fergenson, Ford/New Holland, Case, and Kubota engines. B) Complete engine removal, overhaul, tune-up, and repair on Cummins ISX, M-11, L-10, N-14, 855, Big Cams, and all component replacement. Complete Caterpillar engine overhaul and component replacement on all models. Detroit Diesel Engine 60 and 70 series in-line and V-8 engine overhaul, tune-up, and component replacement. Complete engine overhaul on Ford, Chrysler, and General Motors vehicles. Massey Ferguson and Ford/New Holland construction and farm equipment complete engine overhaul, repair, and component replacement. Komatsu, John Deere, and Kubota Engines overhaul, tune-ups, service, component replacement, and repair. D) Cummins Select and Insight Systems Technician software, including ISX EGR, turbo, and emission systems testing. Caterpillar Diagnostic software. Detroit Diesel Diagnostic software.
• Differentials - A) Eaton, Fuller, Rockwell, John Deere, Caterpillar, and Mack. B) Complete differential removal, overhaul, and installation, including ring gear replacement, drive-shaft replacement, spider-gear replacement, all bearing replacement, and adjustment. Two-speed gear replacement. Cranes are used to lift differentials. Micrometers to adjust backlash.
• Welding - All aspects of fabrication, from simple bucket repairs to developing plans for manufacturing an item. This includes: Tig, Mig, Gas, etc., on aluminum and steel.
