Serves as sole site remediation professional for the Department and therefore serves as project manager on fifty separate contaminated sites currently undergoing remediation efforts while managing $6 million in annual funding.
Responsible for managing all aspects of contractor and subcontractor work on sites undergoing remediation, including; reviewing cost proposals, determining scope of work, approving of all related environmental reports, and auditing project invoices.
Oversee and implement environmental sampling regimes in accordance with NJDEP and EPA guidelines across contaminated media such as soil, groundwater, and indoor vapor sampling.
Responsible for translating administrative rules and regulations into practical policy documents for Department and contractor use.
Contacts citizens regarding Department sampling on their property and answers any questions they may have regarding the process.
